Visiting Qatar’s Museums is the perfect occasion for tourists to learn about the Qatari traditions and customs. During our “One Museum of Your Choice + Souq Waqif” tour you will be dazzled with the collection of Islamic art and artifacts from around the world. Choose between the National Museum of Qatar, the Museum of Islamic Art or Mathaf, Arab Museum of Modern Art. After the museum, we will explore Qatar’s most visited Arabian Market, Souq Waqif, a unique place where you can still feel the authenticity of this country.

- THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF QATAR: If you want to know more about the history of Qatar, how the country rose from the prehistoric time to become an urban metropolis, head over to the National Museum of Qatar and embrace what it has to offer. The National Museum of Qatar has been designed by Jean Nouvel and it resembles a quartz desert rose. One of the highlights of this museum is the Baroda Pearl carpet, embroidered with 1.5 million pearls, sapphires, and diamonds.
- THE MUSEUM OF ISLAMIC ART: The Museum of Islamic Art Doha is a structural marvel, designed by the renowned architect I.M. Pei. The museum occupies its own Island on the Corniche, and visitors can admire numerous collections of textiles, pottery, glassworks, from the Ottoman empire and other Islamic countries.
- MATHAF, ARAB MUSEUM OF MODERN ART: The Arab Museum of Modern Art detain the biggest collection of Arab art in the region, boasting over 9,000 pieces collected over 25 years. It is one of the best places to visit in Doha to discover the story behind its art collection. A notable exhibit on Horoufiyah (use of Arabic letters and calligraphy in art) is held at the museum.
Once we have visited our museum, we will continue our tour to Souq Waqif, the Qatari capital’s oldest Souq and a major tourist destination. Not just a thriving marketplace, Souq Waqif is also home to a wide range of traditional-style restaurants and casual cafés which offer a diverse variety of local and regional flavors. During our tour, we will explore the stores of typical produces and handicraft, and visit the Falcon Souq and the Falcon Hospital.
